Top 5 Spring/Summer 2014 Fashion Trends

The Spring and Summer seasons are a chance for us to shed those layers, show some serious skin and flaunt our best assets with the hottest items of the moment. Let the sun shed light on you while wearing these top 5 trends, shown below!

1. All White

Coming from the colder, long Winter months where all black everything was practically the uniform, all white looks have become the new go to outfit. And LWDs (little white dresses) have become a staple right along with the classic LBD.

2. Pastels

Hues from mint green to blush pink, lavender and powder blue have been recurring pretty much every Spring season. When we think of Spring we automatically think of pastels. But this year, the pastel trend has been rolling into the Summer months, becoming currently one the most popular color palates for not just fashion, but beauty products as well.

3. See Through

Materials like sheer, lace, and mesh have been literally everywhere. With these fabrics you can show some skin while still keeping it classy. Celebrities like Kim Kardashian have been sporting the trend, by exposing her undergarments in a complementing color underneath her daring and baring ensembles.

4. Menswear Inspired

We’ve been borrowing from the boys for quite some time now with items like oversized blazers, loafers and oxfords. But this season boyfriend jeans, mandals, and tailored suits in a bold colors have been rocked by women everywhere; like top fashion bloggers, celebrities, and magazine editors.

5. Florals

The saying goes April showers bring May flowers. But this trend was still in full bloom in the following months also. Whether big or small, florals will forever make us think of the warmer seasons and be key print in our wardrobes.
